Accepting What Is
The Practice
In this meditation we practice allowing what is. Listen as Susan guides you through these steps.

- Call to mind a situation that frustrates, stresses, or worries you.
- Identify what it is you want to be different and why.
- Now allow the situation to be just as it is — uncertain, complicated, or messy.
- Become aware of all that you feel.
- Choose one of these feelings and say “yes” to it. Maybe it’s fury, hurt, pain, worry, or grief.
- Place your hand on your heart and breathe slowly.
- Say out loud, “Even though I feel ________________ , I love and accept myself.” Repeat it 10 times, or until the intensity subsides, and there’s a glimmer of acceptance
